When you know how you’d like your wedding day to look like, you don’t need an entire year to plan it (even if it’s a Cabo San Lucas destination wedding!). Just ask Sarah and Devin, and they’ll happily tell you the story of how we planned their beautiful intimate wedding in only 3 months! After 7.5 years together, a house, some traveling and a puppy, Devin finally decided to surprise Sarah and popped the question during a pumpkin carving competition. She said YES! and decided on tying the knot down in Mexico.
Sarah and Devin imagined an intimate wedding in sunny Cabo San Lucas for a company of 10 guests. I loved their vision and we started working on their ideas immediately. We worked together with a team of local wedding vendors, that could grasp and make come true their vision and style perfectly. I loved how Devin’s sister Blair’s contributed a lot to the style and feel of the wedding through her company Blair Nadenau Millinery, with many wedding details like bridal veils and a belt for the wedding dress, Sarah’s hair crown, hair adornments for both moms, and other details.
The wedding decor that Sarah & Devin imagined was very intimate, garden like, organic an natural. Lola from Florenta Flower Design designed a very original altar for them with original planters, aromatic plants, ficus leaves and other greenery. Devin’s sister Blair made another surprise for the happy couple, and she decorated their wedding table with the couple’s portraits. I can’t miss to mention the cutest cake topper, which was a pair of cats, namely both Sarah and Devin love cats, as well as personalized tequila bottles, their wedding favors.
After the cake cutting and dinner, the newlyweds and their guests boarded the limousine and lived on happily ever after!
Sarah & Devin’s wedding day was a day full of love and celebration, and for me personally it was an honor to be part of their special day.
