Being part of Ashley and Aashish’s wedding was quite an experience, and, without a doubt, it resulted in a celebration full of details, colors, and many emotions. This multicultural wedding was proof that on such a special day, magic can be done from the beginning, respecting the traditions of the couple. We loved being part of the story of this bride and groom, so we will tell you more about this wedding below.
There is nothing better than getting to know the couple and their culture. Organizing a Hindu wedding goes beyond having a good inspiration and a color palette, it is also about knowing the rituals and understanding their importance in the culture and for the bride and groom. When there is an awareness of this multiculturalism, then magic happens, and the wedding becomes a unique expression of the essence and personality of the bride and groom.
The details in this multicultural wedding in Los Cabos
The inspiration behind Ashley and Aashish’s multicultural wedding was planned to unveil the exquisite taste of the bride and groom. We envisioned a celebration that followed a classic style but was accompanied by boho touches and complemented with the paradisiacal spirit of the destination.
We love to see how each of the details, their meaning, and their energetic colors come to life even more with the beach as the main setting and that dessert touch that only Los Cabos offers.
For the range of colors, we thought of a mixture of green, pink, neutral, and white tones. This color range provided the most romantic contrast, and helped the wedding have a timeless aesthetic and with a unique atmosphere, from the flower arrangements to the table styling.
How this Hindu wedding with boho touches was lived in paradise
In just one day we were able to witness all the meaning that multicultural traditions carry. That is why it is so important that a wedding planner specializing in destination weddings knows the details around the context of the couple, in this way it will be much easier to understand the ideas, respect their rituals and integrate all this into an ideal creative concept.
One of the rituals we celebrated was Baarat, a tradition in which the groom rides a horse and is accompanied by his male friends and family to meet his partner. This celebration was full of color, we had not only the horse but also a team of drummers in the hotel lobby to do the procession.
Undoubtedly, one of the great attractions of this multicultural wedding was the change of costumes between the bride and groom and the celebration of two very different rituals: the traditional Hindu wedding and the traditional American wedding.
I love when couples choose the beach as the ideal setting for their wedding. It is a perfect opportunity to create a more enriching experience, to get to know another country, and to be carried away by the beauty of a destination as unique as Los Cabos.
A multicultural wedding with a unique personality
Every item at Ashley and Aashish’s wedding was chosen with a purpose. From the venue, what we were looking for was for the couple to have privacy in their event and to be able to celebrate with all the guests, always having the scenarios of Los Cabos in the background.
Working in a destination wedding is incredible, and even more so when you have as a team the vendors who understand the vision of the bride and groom, the importance of their traditions, and who know how to land all those ideas in an extraordinary celebration.
It was incredible for me to meet such a sweet couple who at all times showed a lot of emotion for their wedding day. A memory that I will always keep in mind.
