For a frequent flyer couple that loves Cabo, its beaches, sunshine, food, colors, and friendly people, there was no doubt in their mind about where they would like to say their wedding vows! They, of course, chose Cabo San Lucas, for their white wedding, and their favorite area in town: the beautiful, luxurious, gated community of Pedregal.
A Beautiful Wedding Venue: Villa Marcella
Upon their visit to Cabo, we went to see various Cabo wedding venues where to host their wedding, and the one that stuck close to their hearts was also one of my favorite private villas: Villa Marcella, and elegantly designed space with flowing old-world architecture that encompasses spacious living areas and exquisite amenities, including a massive marble fireplace, state-of-the-art lighting system, granite counters and Egyptian travertine-marble floors throughout.
I love this villa for its beautiful beachfront area, a private view of one of the most stunning beaches with incredible rock formations, the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean, and even more magnificent sunsets!
Hope and Chris were planning to have a classic, elegant, and romantic destination wedding, which would be timeless and memorable for all their guests. Apart from the eternal and stylish design, their priority was that their guest had a fantastic time and that they would not have to worry at all about the planning and coordination of their wedding celebrations.
The Planning of this Romantic White Wedding in Cabo San Lucas
They imagined a relaxed weekend with friends, celebrating their love, and having the time of their lives. As a professional destination wedding planner, this -of course- is my main priority! Taking care of my couples and making sure that everything is organized according to our plan, and wishes, and that on their wedding day, all they need to do is be there and present for themselves and their loved ones.
We started the celebrations with a fun and colorful taco & beer beach dinner. Needless to say, everyone had a fantastic time, and this relaxed evening was a great way to start the celebrations of Hope & Chris’s love. No one expected the spectacular setup we had been planning with Hope and Chris for the day of their wedding!
Hope and Chris’s wedding day could not start more perfectly! The day was beautiful and sunny, and everyone was having a blast! Hope was enjoying precious moments with her mom and bridesmaids, and Chris and the boys had a fun time getting ready as well! I loved Hope and Chris’s first look at the entrance of the villa – they both looked stunning, and I loved the expression on Chris’s face when he saw his bride for the first time!

Their wedding ceremony was set up on the Pedregal beach, with a beautiful backdrop of the Pacific Ocean and majestic rock foundations. We set up a cocktail area on the beach, near the Villa Marcella, and the dinner was catered by Lazy Gourmet catering on the villa’s terrace. Hope and Chris’s love celebration was full of luxury touches with white roses, the ‘sky’ of twinkle lights, and high-end tequila and champagne bottles for the newlyweds and their guests.
In the photos below, you’ll see all the love and laughs we shared at Hope and Chris’s amazing beach wedding! It was indeed a weekend to be remembered! The entire wedding party had so much fun that they continued the celebrations after the dinner in downtown Cabo San Lucas, dancing and celebrating late into the night!
