Bella & Mitch’s Cabo Wedding: Elegance and Simplicity

June 17, 2026

Planning Bella and Mitch’s wedding was truly a joy from beginning to end.

From the moment we started working together, I felt an immediate connection to their vision and the experience they wanted to create for their family and friends. They were thoughtful, kind, and incredibly focused on how they wanted people to feel throughout the weekend.

What I loved most about working with them was the genuine connection they shared as a couple. Their excitement was contagious, and every planning meeting felt less like a task and more like building something meaningful together. Bella’s mom was also actively involved throughout the planning process, which added another special layer to the experience.

Over the course of nearly twelve months, we worked together to create a wedding weekend that reflected not only their personalities but also the people and relationships that matter most to them.

Two priorities guided almost every decision we made throughout the planning process: creating an unforgettable experience for their guests and making sure they could genuinely enjoy the celebration themselves.

Throughout the planning process, we often talked about the importance of being present. Bella and Mitch wanted to create beautiful memories for their guests, but they also wanted to experience them themselves. They wanted time to slow down, connect with the people they love, appreciate the beauty of the venue, and enjoy the celebration they had spent so many months planning.

Los Cabos was already an important part of their story. It was where they got engaged, and returning here to celebrate their wedding felt like the natural next chapter. They wanted their guests to experience everything they love about this destination while also creating meaningful opportunities for everyone to connect throughout the weekend.

At the same time, aesthetics played a huge role in their vision. Bella and Mitch were drawn to clean lines, thoughtful details, candlelight, and a design approach that felt elegant without being excessive. Rather than filling every space with décor, they wanted to embrace Acre’s natural beauty and let the venue itself become part of the experience.

Looking back, those priorities became the foundation for every decision we made together.

When it came to choosing a venue, Acre Resort felt like a natural extension of the vision they already had. The atmosphere, the food, the cocktails, the natural setting, and the overall experience make Acre unlike any other venue in Los Cabos. Bella and Mitch felt it the moment they visited, and by the end of the wedding weekend, so did every single guest.

What made Acre especially appealing was that it already reflected so much of what they loved aesthetically. The mature palms, open spaces, natural textures, and understated beauty of the property aligned perfectly with their vision. Rather than transforming the venue into something else, the goal was to enhance what was already there and allow the setting to play a central role in the overall design.

Welcome Event: The Sparkle That Ignited The Weekend Celebrations

We designed the wedding weekend to begin with a welcome gathering on the Médano Beach deck at Hotel Corazón Cabo.

Guests arrived to welcome drinks, ocean views, and the energy that makes Cabo San Lucas such a special destination. It was the perfect way to start the celebration. Friends met for the first time, family members reconnected, and conversations that would continue throughout the weekend unfolded naturally.

Bella and Mitch arrived looking incredible. Bella’s outfit was absolutely stunning and immediately set the tone for the days ahead. By the end of the evening, everyone had settled into vacation mode, and the celebration was officially underway.

Rehearsal Dinner: An Evening Under the Cabo Sky

The second day began with the ceremony rehearsal at Acre Resort. It was the first opportunity for family, friends, and the bridal party to walk through the ceremony space together before the wedding day.

That evening, the couple hosted an intimate rehearsal dinner on the rooftop at Hotel Corazón Cabo. With approximately twenty-five guests, sweeping views of Cabo San Lucas, the iconic Arch in the distance, and a spectacular sunset, the evening felt personal, relaxed, and incredibly special.

One detail that stood out was Bella’s outfit. She wore a corset created from her mother’s wedding dress, and it was one of those details that immediately captured everyone’s attention. Not because it was dramatic, but because it carried so much meaning. Those are often the moments people remember most.

The Wedding Day: A Time to Remain Present

The wedding day began in Acre’s bridal suite, where we arranged private transportation for Bella, her bridesmaids, and her mom so they could enjoy a relaxed morning together on the property.

One of Bella’s biggest priorities was making sure the day never felt rushed. This influenced many of the decisions we made leading up to the wedding. Rather than moving quickly from one event to the next, Bella wanted space to enjoy breakfast with her bridesmaids, spend meaningful time with her family, take in the beauty of Acre, and fully experience each moment as it unfolded.

With plenty of time built into the schedule, the day felt relaxed from beginning to end, allowing both Bella and Mitch to remain present and enjoy the celebration they had spent so many months planning.

Bella spent the morning surrounded by her bridesmaids and closest family members, fully present and enjoying every moment. Her look was polished, timeless, and elegant without ever feeling overdone.

Mitch experienced a similar morning with his groomsmen. Just the people they love most gathered around them before one of the most important days of their lives.

Before the ceremony, both Bella and Mitch spent time separately with their families and bridal party in prayer. While they chose not to do a first look together, Bella shared emotional first-look moments with her bridesmaids, her father, and her brother. Seeing their reactions to her in her wedding dress became one of the most meaningful parts of the day and made the anticipation leading up to the ceremony even more powerful.

The wedding ceremony itself was emotional, personal, and deeply reflective of who they are as a couple. One of the most meaningful moments came when the bridal party and immediate family gathered around Bella and Mitch to offer blessings and prayers. It was a beautiful reflection of the love, faith, and support surrounding them as they began this new chapter together.

After the ceremony, Bella and Mitch stepped away for portraits throughout Acre’s beautiful grounds. The palms, the beautiful light, and the natural surroundings created an incredible setting for their photographs before rejoining their guests.

After their portrait session, they joined the cocktail hour, enjoying time with family and friends, delicious appetizers, and live music before the evening festivities began.

Their grand entrance as husband and wife was one of the most fun moments of the entire weekend. The bridal party entered carrying flashing lanterns, fun signs, and bottles of liquor, creating incredible energy from the very beginning. Guests were welcomed with tequila shots incorporated into the seating chart display, allowing everyone to celebrate together. Cold fireworks framed the moment perfectly and set the tone for the evening ahead.

The reception continued with heartfelt speeches from family and friends. There were plenty of laughs, a few tears, and countless memories shared. Parent dances followed, creating another emotional highlight of the evening.

One particularly touching moment came when Bella dedicated her bouquet to her mother. It was a simple gesture, but one that carried tremendous meaning and became one of the most memorable moments of the night.

From there, the celebration unfolded exactly as they had hoped: with great food, meaningful conversations, a packed dance floor, and countless moments shared between family and friends.

A Timeless Aesthetic: Clean Lines and Candlelights

While guest experience was always at the heart of the celebration, design played an equally important role in bringing Bella and Mitch’s vision to life.

From the beginning, they were drawn to clean lines, a restrained color palette, candlelight, and a timeless aesthetic that would feel just as beautiful years from now as it did on their wedding day.

The ceremony embraced simplicity in the best possible way. Black chairs, soft white floral accents, flowing ribbon details, and Acre’s incredible palm grove created a setting that felt elegant and refined while allowing the natural surroundings to remain the focal point.

The reception followed the same philosophy. Long tables, hundreds of candles, a restrained palette, and carefully selected details created a warm and sophisticated atmosphere without competing with the beauty of the venue itself.

One of the things I appreciated most about their vision was the confidence behind those choices. Every element had a purpose, and nothing felt excessive. The result was a celebration that felt polished, timeless, and completely reflective of Bella and Mitch.

What Made This Weekend Work

  • Three distinct events, each with its own personality.
  • A venue chosen for the experience as much as the aesthetic.
  • Two locations working together seamlessly throughout the weekend.
  • Time was intentionally built into the schedule so the couple could truly enjoy the celebration.
  • Family and friends who were deeply involved in every part of the experience.
  • A ceremony rooted in faith, love, and connection.
  • Design that embraced simplicity and allowed Acre’s beauty to shine.
