I love connecting with couples who are not afraid of anything and who are looking for a completely different inspiration on their wedding day. Brigitta and Mike set out to create a celebration in which surprising details were the common denominator.
From the ideas and setting to the aesthetics and purpose of all the details, this alternative wedding was a dream, especially since the bride wore a black dress! Wow!
The Wedding Planning Process
Brigitta and Mike’s wedding was express, so we carried out a full planning of 4 months. We love challenges and more when they are accompanied by such beautiful couples with whom it is so easy to connect. The mother of the bride was also an important part of the planning process, we love it when the family comes together to give us their ideas and create an even more magical environment!
Brigitta was clear about the essence of the wedding and her personality. She wanted the four elements to be present with a steep amount of cylinders on and around the tables; water in cylinders, the fire of the candles, and air in the open sky.
The name of the location is also “Air”, so everything was perfect. As part of the setting, she also wanted wood, so we opted for driftwood and a touch of gold to give this celebration a bit of formality.
The personality of both was always very funny. Brigitta and Mike define themselves as adventurers, so the decoration and the entire wedding design were inspired by them and their essence. We loved the result!
Part of the expectations that both had was that the event flowed smoothly. As it was an express wedding, what interested us the most was that there was a lot of communication and that the processes were carried out efficiently. In this case, we planned Zoom calls to refine details, distribute the tasks, and organize a site inspection to make a mockup of the decoration and a tasting of the menu.
The entire planning process was seamless and a lot of fun. I worked hand in hand with my team: Carla, in planning support, and Oziel in the visual part.
An Amazing Black Wedding Dress
Undoubtedly, one of the details that inspired us the most was the black wedding dress that Brigitta wore. To give it even more prominence, the color scheme we chose for the décor was green, black, wood, and white. We put together the best range to highlight the originality of both and the very cool personality of this alternative wedding in Los Cabos.

We focused on creating a wedding different from the classic. All the details chosen were key for the setting to match its styling with that beautiful engagement ring, that we fell in love with, for having a black diamond in it!
An Alternative Wedding at Esperanza Auberge
Among the happenings that took place at this wedding was a welcome cocktail at Esperanza Auberge, one of the best wedding venues in Los Cabos to have a fascinating event.
In addition, the couple and their guests enjoyed brunch at The Cape, another of the hotels that have become a favorite for many couples looking to have a Cabo destination wedding.
The ceremony was my favorite part. Nothing compares to seeing a bride dressed in black and enjoying a wedding her way to the fullest.
Communication with Brigitta and Mike was also very important in creating this alternative wedding in Los Cabos in detail. It is incredible that we can design a celebration like this in such a short time, and that is thanks to the trust that the bride and groom place in us to bring their vision to reality.
