To celebrate their love and marriage, Dana and James wanted a three-day celebration with their family and friends. 93 guests joined them in Los Cabos to spend the best weekend of their lives together with them. From rehearsal dinner to the wedding day, and an after-wedding brunch, Dana and James’s Cabo destination wedding weekend was full of love, laughter, and good wishes for a happily ever after.

Dana contacted me about ten months before their wedding. They were looking for a Cabo wedding planner that was oriented into details and would be quick to act on all the items about planning their destination wedding in Los Cabos. After 4 months of intense wedding planning and defining all the details, Dana and James, together with their parents. Their visit was super productive, and we were able to see all the locations, meet all the vendors, cover all the details, and above all, have a food tasting at Cabo del Sol, which is always spectacular!

The wedding date arrived, and to commence the festivities, we organized a rehearsal dinner with food stations at Sheraton Hotel Los Cabos. They prepared a carving station, a paella and salads station, and, a kids favorite, an ice cream station. We decorated the dinner with festive Mexican colors, and prepared hand-painted Maracas as giveaways for all the guests.

Their wedding day next day was perfect! Everything was just as we planned it, and better, with big support of Cabo del Sol team, and especially Luz Maria. Dana and James’s wedding ceremony was set on beautiful Ocean Meadows overlooking the Sea of Cortez, and the reception was at Cabo del Sol’s Casa Club. For the entire wedding color theme, we used gold, blush, and accents of blue, which was also part of their stationery created by Bells & Whistles.

For the wedding reception, we created a setup with round and rectangular tables with two types of centerpieces. A square table centerpiece had a collection of clear votive candles, clear cylinders with floating candles, as well as three floral arrangements per table using nude domestic flowers like lisianthus, stock, lilies, and pops of blue flowers. For the round table centerpiece, we used a set of two geometric lanterns, a collection of votives and two flower arrangements to match, with pops of blue.

Two different and beautiful setups, a delicious menu, divine florals, and uplifting music was matched with incredible energy by every guest and our bride and grooms happiness!

Wedding day turned into night, and the next day the celebrations continued with a delicious brunch at Sheraton hotel, where guests wouldn’t stop sharing their favorite moments from Dana and James’s wedding day. Dana and James told me they had an amazing weekend, and we couldn’t have been happier as well!

Love always!
