Being born and raised in Mexico, planning a wedding full of festive colors always brings back some of the most beautiful memories and emotions. And when Nicole and David told me, they wanted to add vibrant colors, textures, and a touch of Mexican traditions to their Cabo destination wedding, I was thrilled!
We met about 16 months before their wedding and connected immediately at the first meeting; we ended up going for dinner together the same night! They are both wonderful humans and super pleasant and fun to be around. The planning process was smooth, and I believe we all enjoyed the process.

A 3-Day Destination Wedding in Los Cabos
Nicole and David’s destination wedding weekend started with a rehearsal dinner at the Taco Bar at the pool of Bahia Hotel. For their Cabo wedding venue, we chose the beachfront terrace of Hacienda Cocina & Cantina, and the day after the wedding, we wrapped up the celebrations at SUR with a delicious brunch and amazing views of the Sea of Cortez and the Land’s End.
For their wedding, Nicole imagined a wedding color palette that was romantic and festive at the same time. Bright florals matched perfectly with festive Mexican accents, and the end result was a beautiful romantic set up by the sea.
For the floral decor, we used blush, pink, hot pink, orange, yellow ranunculus, Leptospermum, pink peonies, and greenery. For the reception tables, we used seasonal flowers; roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, and greenery.
Nicole brought lovely menus with papel picado print, and table numbers were personalized “Signs of love,” and if you put them all together, they formed a mosaic.
To decorate the pergolas of the restaurant, we used papel picado and added various hand-made copper lanterns in the shape of stars, creating a romantic ambiance. This wedding included tons of Mexican Inspiration!

A Heart-Felt Wedding Ceremony at the Beach
Nicole and David’s love celebration was an amazing beach wedding, on a beautiful sunny day in Cabo, in the presence of 40 guests. After they sealed their vows, the festivities continued with a cocktail hour and a mariachi band. One of the guests was a fantastic singer and joined mariachi for a song!
But the mariachi and the guests were not the only ones singing! Two days before their wedding, David contacted me to organize a surprise for Nicole. He surprised her by playing the ukulele and singing a song; the same song that he sang to her precisely 4 years ago on the day of their wedding! His surprise was absolute – Nicole didn’t see it coming, it was such a sweet moment, and they both ended up with happy tears.
After this lovely surprise, everyone enjoyed the delicious dinner by Hacienda Cocina & Cantina, and afterward, DJ Mijares made sure that everyone was on the dance floor the entire evening! It was a magical evening that they never wanted to end.
I feel so honored and happy being part of Nicole and David’s most special day. They are a fantastic couple, and I’m delighted Cabo San Lucas will always be in their most beautiful memories.
Love always,

Best wedding coordinator ever!!!
Fatima was absolutely amazing and responsive from day one. We began planning a year and a half before the date, and she was there to guide us every step of the way. She recommended multiple vendors that were of very high quality, and we were very satisfied with all the vendors we selected. Fatima gave us great ideas and suggestions for bachelor/bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinner, and farewell brunch activities. She was present with us at each event to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail was exceptional. It showed in every aspect of our wedding weekend from the decor at the wedding reception to the legal requirements necessary, such as blood work and translation of legal documents. We selected her based on reviews from wedding wire, and we could not have made a better decision. Every detail of our wedding weekend in Cabo far exceeded our expectations, thanks to Fatima and her recommended vendors. Our friends and families were so impressed, many stating it was the best wedding they had ever attended!!
