Darlene and Nolan from San Jose, California, have been to Cabo San Lucas and fell in love with its colors, the ocean, the people, and the amazing food. When they got engaged, they agreed they’d love to have a Mexican-style wedding -and the first place that came to their mind was Los Cabos!
We started their destination wedding planning process about a year before the wedding. I loved planning their wedding with Darlene, she’s an excellent planner, with attention to detail and a defined vision.
We met about four months before their wedding in Los Cabos, where they met all their vendors. There, they fell in love with the meals that Hacienda Cocina was preparing for their wedding dinner.
While visiting various Cabo San Lucas restaurants, and searching for the perfect place for a rehearsal dinner, they were enamored with the restaurant Los Tres Gallos. They were fascinated with the decoration of the restaurant, the bar, and of course, the delicious traditional Mexican food.

For their wedding decoration Darlene and Nolan were looking for something formal, but still suitable for the beach, and with lots of colors, honoring Mexico and its traditions. Lola from Florenta prepared stunning flower designs, which perfectly complemented the elegant beach wedding setup.
Nolan’s brother made a fantastic opening speech; he’s a sales manager and brought flip chart paper and drew graphics during the speech. We all laughed and had so much fun!
