There’s nothing better than thinking outside the box, imagining new narratives to tell love stories, and being part of how that love transforms on such a special day. That’s exactly what happened with Arin and Chase, a fascinating couple who chose to have a three-day wedding in the vibrant and magical town of Todos Santos. From start to finish, every moment of this union became an endless source of inspiration, where emotions, aesthetics, and fashion blended to make this dream “I DO” a reality. You’ve got to experience this wedding!
The Love Story
Like the best love stories, Arin and Chase met at the perfect time. They were introduced by mutual friends during a memorable brunch, and Arin couldn’t understand how she had never seen Chase before. He was just a few weeks away from moving to Canada, while she was finishing business school and had just adopted a puppy.
Life seemed to be at its peak of chaos until they locked eyes. After that famous brunch, they stayed in touch, and eight weeks later, Chase returned to Chicago just for Arin. They moved in together, and the rest is history. He proposed during Christmas 2022.
The proposal happened in Hawaii after a day full of adventures with Arin’s family (visiting a butterfly farm with her nephew Cruz, floating in the ocean on floaties, and then enjoying an epic whale-watching tour). Chase asked Arin to join him for a romantic walk under the stars. At first, she declined but eventually agreed, and he gave her the ring during that unforgettable beach walk.

The Planning of a Three-Day Wedding
Arin and Chase dreamed of getting married in Todos Santos. As a couple who has traveled the world and experienced the best in food and culture, the quality of the food and beverages at their wedding was a top priority.
They are passionate about romance, adventure, and being close to the ocean, so the idea of a wedding during whale season at a location with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean was perfect.
Their vision was to create a three-day wedding full of adventure and fun for their guests. They wanted each day to offer something unique and memorable, ensuring everyone felt part of the celebration.
This project was exciting because Arin and Chase had initially started planning with another team but decided to start fresh with the Momentos Team. This was a challenge since some contracts were already signed, and we weren’t working with our usual vendors.
We had to ensure everyone aligned with the vision and that communication remained clear and efficient.
The Design
We drew inspiration from the magical town of Todos Santos to bring this wedding to life. The couple chose Hotel Villa Santa Cruz, a high-end hacienda-style hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean, known for its breathtaking views. With a stunning backdrop of the ocean and the setting sun, it was a dream location for their ceremony.
The ceremony altar was adorned with vibrant, colorful flowers that perfectly reflected Arin’s personality. Bright, cheerful tones like yellow, pink, and orange filled the space, creating a lively, joyful setting for their vows.
Arin and Chase opted for a minimalist yet elegant design for the reception dinner tables. The focus was on the variety and vibrancy of the flowers, which were arranged in colorful and eye-catching displays. Instead of an abundance of décor, the couple chose to let the flowers stand out as the centerpiece, blending bold colors that reflected the energy and vibrancy of the wedding.

The Three-Day Wedding
This three-day wedding in Todos Santos stood out with multiple special moments that made it truly unique. There were four major events in total.
The Welcome Party
The first event was the welcome party at The Green Room, a beachfront venue part of Villa Santa Cruz. Its stunning oceanfront views set the perfect tone for the evening, with personalized papel picado, mariachi music, and delicious Mexican cuisine.
Before the event, we planned a special photoshoot for the couple in the heart of Todos Santos, a magical town filled with art, history, and vibrant colors. The photos captured the town’s essence and provided a unique backdrop that perfectly complemented their love story.
The Pool Party
The second day we featured the pool party at Villa Santa Cruz, one of our favorites. The pool area was decked out with vibrant décor and inflatable toys inspired by Barbie’s aesthetic and colors, creating a playful and lively atmosphere.
The menu featured a Taco Bar, a huge success among the guests! It offered a variety of delicious taco fillings, fresh salsas, and traditional accompaniments that added a fun, casual element to the event. The DJ booth was decorated with disco ball accents, and the entire day was filled with music, laughter, and fun by the pool.
The Wedding Day
Sound Bath
The wedding day started with a unique experience: a sound bath by Aureo Baja at 9 a.m. All the guests gathered for an incredible sound healing session, offering relaxation and a moment of calm before the big celebration. This was the first time we’d incorporated this activity, and it was a special touch that we’d love to include in future weddings.
The Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony took place later in the day, on the beach, with the most spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. The sound of the waves, the stunning sunset, and the serene atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for Arin and Chase’s vows.
It was a truly magical moment.
The Cocktail Hour Experience
After the ceremony, the cocktail hour was held in The Huerta, a beautiful orchard surrounded by metal tes in blooming bugambilias. The setting was serene and picturesque, adding a natural beauty to the event. One of the highlights was the champagne tower, which became a stunning focal point of the evening.
Guests also enjoyed watching a live sketch artist as they began preparing a painting of the venue. The sketch artist started painting the building during the cocktail hour and completed the artwork during the reception, just as Arin and Chase shared their first dance. A beautiful touch that allowed guests to witness the painting evolve throughout the evening.
For appetizers, the guests enjoyed avocado and arugula sopes with sweet mashed potatoes, chicken tamales, crab cakes with basil crème fraîche, potato taquitos with tomatillo sauce, and sea bass and mango ceviche mini tostadas.
Drinks included margaritas, Aperol spritz, espresso martinis, and a fine selection of wine, mezcal, and tequila. There was also a popular oyster station, providing a fresh and flavorful culinary experience amidst the enchanting surroundings of the orchard.
Reception, Dancing & Late Snacks
The reception dinner was a feast for the senses. The floral arrangements were minimalistic yet elegant, focused on the beauty and color of each bloom.
For dinner, the guests enjoyed a selection of dishes that reflected Arin and Chase’s love for fresh flavors: short rib, seabass with roasted mango and pineapple relish, and stuffed eggplant with vegetable stew.

For the first two hours of the reception, guests were treated to an incredible music experience, as Hiram, an exceptionally talented saxophonist from the region, alternated with DJ Nestor, creating an unforgettable atmosphere on the dance floor. Their performance became a true sensation, elevating the energy and keeping everyone dancing throughout the night.
The late-night snacks were designed to be a great experience, offering a variety of delicious Mexican antojitos. The star was the churro cart, a special request from the bride herself—a sweet and delightful way to wrap up the celebration.
The wedding concluded with a last dance: “Our Love” by Gary Clark Jr.
This three-day wedding in Todos Santos left us completely inspired. We were honored to work with such a lovely couple with whom we had smooth, efficient communication throughout. Understanding their ideas and bringing them to life was the best part!
